Now Your Suffolk Business
Can Become a Big Business (as reliably as a Suffolk Punch and even faster than a tractor) Dear Suffolk Business Owner Did you miss the revolution? No, not the agricultural revolution, not the industrial revolution but the information revolution? Probably not, but does your business make the best use of it? Now you can. I know you’re busy, so I’ve edited the bulk of this letter down to three key words: 1. More 2. Business 3. Easily That about sums it up, so you can skip to the summary at the end of this letter if you wish, while I explain a little more. Now your Suffolk Business can be a big business - when you reach out to the wider world. And if you already have a big business, you can almost certainly be bigger still, any time you want to, and more easily than you might think. ‘…your business can be much bigger without
requiring massive investment…’ Whether you’re based in Newmarket or Stowmarket, Hadleigh, Ipswich or Bury St Edmunds, your business can be much bigger, without requiring massive investment. As you know, to do more business, you have two options: 1. Find
more customers 2. Sell
more to your existing customers I can help you with option 2 as well, and you should do both, but for now I’m concentrating on option 1. What I’m offering you costs very little. In fact, if you’re not quids in within the first month I’ll be amazed. If you’re a Bury Chamber of Commerce member you might have seen the Pay Per Click presentation we did to the First Friday Club on the sixth of July. We were surprised how few of those present (none, actually) use the methods we talked about. We also know how well those methods can work for most local businesses.
As an example, one car dealer easily sold several
more top of the range cars each month as a direct result of a campaign like
the one I’m offering you. At
several thousand pounds per car, times several cars per month … and
that’s not counting the repeat sales in years to come… You and I are so lucky to be living in a quite wealthy area at a very prosperous time. At the same time, because Bury has such a close community, we’re fortunate that a lot of those people we want to sell to have already heard of us. ‘…nothing beats word of mouth…’ And there’s no marketing quite so powerful as word of mouth: it’s as reliable and steady as a Suffolk Punch. But why settle for that? After all, the Suffolk Punch doesn’t win any races, beautiful beast though it is. It can be a painfully slow plod building a business by word of mouth, and if you’d like yours to grow at a pace a little livelier than the faithful Punch can manage then you must do more. And you just pay me my fee, a notional set up cost, plus a budget that can start from a few pounds a week, then I’ll run the campaign for you. Thereafter, you’ll pay my monthly fee plus a small sum for every targeted visitor I send your way. We’ll use a special code so we know which ones I sent you.
That low rate can’t last: I’m in business too! Once we see your campaign working, and your sales and profits increasing as a result, you and I will discuss whether you’d like to scale up your campaign to grow your business at precisely the rate you can cope with. Because the great thing about this system is its ‘scaleability’ – once it starts to work on a small scale you simply expand the campaign to grow your business to any size you like. You’ll have exclusivity in your market sector (in your area). You’ll no longer have to rely on word of mouth, and all your promotions will reach beyond the circulation area of the local press (and the locals). All starting from just a few pounds a week if you choose. right back to you PS, ‘Frankly, we were shocked…’ When we researched some Suffolk companies’ web ‘presence’, frankly we were shocked. Unless we already knew their name, they were as good as invisible online. No one who doesn’t know who they are will ever find them! Which means no one with a problem to solve ever comes to their website, and they probably think their website is a waste of time and money. Very few new visitors come to their shop and hardly anyone calls. The business either stagnates and dies or grows so slowly it’s imperceptible… Your business can be different.
